Within two years, the whole of wizarding society has become unrecognizable. In the end, Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter, but the victory was not without severe consequences. With the smoke clearing and wizarding England in ruins, the first survivors began to slowly show their faces and began to return to their lives. But after years of knowing or ignoring the darkness, it might not be as easy as they'd like to return to the light.

Return to Hogwarts. Return to the place of the final battle and see what the war has left behind. Students returning will be shocked to realize that their houses were destroyed and they must unite for the reconstruction effort. Gryffindors in Slytherin house? Ravenclaw in Hufflepuff? I didn't want to tell eric anything for a little while... not until i was 100% sure i was late and not just having a crazy cycle this month. but he kept telling me not to get baby crazy after watching a 3 month old baby. i had to tell him i was late. and he's stressing this more than i am right now. i don't blame him, i really don't. i'm trying my hardest *not* to stress it because if i do, i know i'm going to knock my body into baby mode and i'll really be late. i'm giving myself until the end of the month. if nothing changes, we're getting a test.

Major picture spammage! Bewarned!

Okay, so, the trip was pretty much how I expected it. Day 1 - Day 4, Eric's mother made me feel like crap and all I wanted was to hop a train back out here. I like Eric's grandfather and his uncle Bill... Not too sure about others. Ofcourse I didn't really sit around and be social. If I don't know someone, I'm not the type to walk up and start a conversation with someone.

When we got out to Long Island, we surprised his dad by showing up at his work. Eric called him up, he went to answer the phone and looked out the window and saw us standing there. So like the first thing out of his mouth was "What are you guys doing here?!" and the answer to that was "We wanted to give you back your watch." Step-mother Catherine was surprised as well. And Eric's Nanny (G.G. to the kids) was overwhelmed with having these two in her house for as many days as we were there. LOL.

I got to go see my old counselor. She was surprised to see me and the kids. Especially Robin. He was so little the last time we were out there.

Now, before I get to the pictures... There was a night while upstate, that Raven got really sick. She had a fever so bad we couldn't touch her she was that hot to the touch. She was throwing up everywhere. And what sucked, is we had to stay in a pop up camper out in the backyard. So there was no rushing her to the bathroom to get her cleaned up and stuff. After I got her cooled of, by walking around with her outside in the cold late night air, I brought her back into the camper, and Eric moved to the other side of the camper with Robin while Raven and I took the other side. I watched over her for as long as I could before I ended up dozing off. I kept waking up now and then to find her staring at me unblinking like. Her breathing was very heavy and fast. The whole time I was worrying about her seizures. Before I ended up dozing off, I said a little prayer. Something along the lines of "Hello up there, it's me, Laurie. You know as well as I do, that I believe there is something out there, some higher power, I just don't like giving you a name. If I'm wrong, give me a sign. I'm sending a prayer to you for Raven, please don't let her have a seizure. We've been doing so good and its nearly the end of the year, please watch over her and keep her safe. Thank you." Sometime during the night, she woke me up saying "uh-bye uh-bye Jesus ah-bye" Now, we're an agnostic bunch over here, the hubby and I. We don't use the words Jesus and God, so to have her say that literally floored me. And then she went to bed. She did wake up throwing up one more time during the night, and had a little juice to keep her hydrated. Her breathing was still heavy and fast, but she could sleep. Her fever broke by the next afternoon and then she was perfectly fine again. She even ate 1/4 of a hot dog, and she hates those things with a passion. The day before we left NY all together, I got really sick, nearly fainted a few times, and was walking around making everyone else sweat because I had 4 sweatshirts on. But I was still freezing! Had a bad headache that didn't go away for 3 days. And when we got back here, Eric had what I had. Haha... He should have apologized for talking nasty to me that day before we left. Now that he felt what I went through. But he didn't.

Anyway, on to the pictures. )

I warned you there were a bunch of pictures!

Funny story...

BirdDaddy = Eric

No, really, its freakin' hysterical....

Birddaddy and I had the kids in the car (Raven and Robin - get it? they're birds!)... we ran an errand in a town a few towns away, and were driving back when all of a sudden a bird literally FLIES INTO MY FACE! icky pigeon feet in my ear, something (beak or foot) caught my face just under my glasses. I yell out "MOG WTF WAS THAT?!" and then I hear the flapping. At the same time, BirdDaddy can see it in the middle seat where the babies sit. He starts bugging out because he wanted to pull over and we were in traffic. We're finally able to pull down a side road, and the bird is trying to get out the back window of the van... Both babies are screaming. Bird is alive and flies out the back. BirdDaddy calms babies down. Checks my face, I'm fine just all OMG WTF ?!?!?!

I'm fine. We drove to my mother's and told her. she checks out my face and says "OMG your ear looks horrible!" My face was all red from being smacked into by a bird.. My neck was red, and I had feathers in my hair. We called BirdDaddy's dad and his response was "that's bizarre"... Like my mother said "Only you would get hit in the face by a bird".... I don't know who's more traumatized... the babies or myself. I can't stop laughing, but I was really freaked out after that and kept flinching at every bug or bird that flew in front of the van.

I don't really use my RL IJ anymore. =o/ So, an update on life!

Raven is so sweet. She has a giant pin of Joe Jonas that sits on her dresser. The last few days, whenever Eric or I are in there, she points at it and says "Itz Joe!" and will continue until we bring it down for her to talk to. Today I took pictures of her sitting in the big blue chair with her Jo-Bros hat on, the phony backstage pass, and her pin. I'll get them up here in a few, I'm going to pimp 'em out all scrapbook like LOL.

We have this big blue blanket that usually sits out here on the couch. Well the last couple of weeks, Raven likes to cover herself and Eric up and play under the blanket. Its become known as the "star room" because when you look out from under the blanket the light makes all these little pinhole spots of light. The blanket is far too heavy for Raven to drag in her room and pull up on her bed, so I've tied it around her bed. She can now crawl into bed and have the comfort of the "star room" around her whenever she wants. Eric and I are trying to figure out what to do so the blanket stays up and doesn't drape down so she has to lay, but can sit up and play in bed. Like a fort!

Robin's walking around. But I've already mentioned this. No more than 5 steps at a time, and unfortunately he's getting way to excited and is falling far too often, but he's getting there! I need to clean the floor up a little more so he wont have things in his way. Not that its too bad, just toys everywhere. Heh. Oh! He says "Dada" now! Today was the first time I've actually heard him say it clearly. And he was looking at Eric when he said it, so I know he meant it! Hehehe. =oD

I have the porch cleaned, and Eric put up some garden fencing so we can let the babies out on the porch now. And the best part, I don't have to be out there, but I do still keep an eye on them. *wink* From the desk, I have full view of the porch. And from the kitchen as well, so I always know what they're doing. Now, I don't really let Robin out there, because I'm afraid of him getting splinters in his hand and legs since he crawls everywhere, but if I"m sitting out there, I'll let him crawl around since I'm right there. I've been putting my plants outside to snatch up some sun, and I'm so glad I did that. The palm looks awesome now. And the rubber tree is looking good too. =oD I'm glad the snake plant gets enough sun from the kitchen window.

My kitchen is pretty much clean now. Well as clean as I'll ever get it. We really have no room, and most of my pots/pans are sitting on or next to the stove, but I can't do much about that. We have a card table in there that we end up throwing crap on. That's the only thing I need to clean up, and then I might have a spot for the pots/pans. Even if the cats get up there all the time, which makes me second guess my decision of putting pots and pans on there. T_T My fat cat is driving me nuts with his vomiting everywhere! It pisses me off when we get home from the store I have to clean up dark orange spot of vomit before we can let the kids down in the livingroom. Or, when its all over thier toys/clothes. (Dresser drawers are not safe from Raven, she pulls everything out *every time* I put the clothes back in.

Well, I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Eric has off today, tomorrow, and Tuesday so we're going to be grilling our food for the next few days. Yay! Haha.

Oh! Raven is still continuously dropping her diaper and running around naked! I don't know how to get her to potty train. She sits on the potty if she has her diaper on, and she'll sit there and read a magazine while she does it. But, once you take the diaper off, she freaks out! If you go potty, she wants to run in and wave at the toilet when you flush saying "Bye bye poo poo!" and she knows "poo poo" and "pee pee" are done in the potty. If you ask her where to go, she runs and hits the bathroom door until you open it up. But still, I don't know what else to do.

Wow, this update on life ended up *alot* longer than I had anticipated. Hahaha. Sorry! Oh, and Raven just turned on music. LOL... I didn't even know she knew where the music channels were on the TV. So we're listening to Miranda Cosgrove at the moment. Had two Miley Cyrus songs already. I love the song 'The Climb' its a nice song. Haha.

OOOOO I started writing again. Slightly, but still. Hahah. Astoria-muse has mostly taken over, but I've gotten some decent things out. Some day I'll get them up here.

I had an interesting idea for a Harry Potter game. LOL its amazing how ideas come to me. I was washing dishes and listening to Raven scream and cry because she misses her Grammy, and Julie is in Maine fo the week. Okay maybe its not so interesting but it interested me.

Before there was Hogwarts, what was there? What would have happened if Godric, Helga, Rowena, and Salazar were raised differently, would they still have turned out the same?

I'd like to see a game that takes place waaaaaaaaaay back when. You don't see too many of those.

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

rant rant rant

i dont think i can handle julie anymore. she makes snide comments about how we raise our children. the current one, we are switching raven from bottle to cup (weird looking sippy cup that tips like a real cup) cold turkey, and she's making comments on the fact that raven is spilling more on her than she is getting in her mouth. her comments were "great have to change the kid every time she takes a drink" and "thanks i wanted to wear it"

eric and her rearranged the livingroom late lastnight after i went to bed. i don't like it, not one bit. huge waste of space and the only thing that is going to happen, is that everything behind the couch will be the new dumping ground for everything eric doesn't want to put away. i'm freaking miserable in the livingroom, and i have to shut up and deal with it. i am not allowed to change it because julie is backing him up. they say everything is baby proofed, nothing is baby proofed, things are just hidden behind the couch. how is that going to help her learn when she goes places with heavy wooden tables in front of the couch?

anyway i've been up since 5:30 this morning so upset i've been shaking. i spent the day rearranging raven's room, putting robin's crib together, made raven's bed a toddler bed, and put away clothes/got rid of clothes that wont fit. finally ate for the first time today. and...

i'm freakin pissed off . i don't like my living room. grrrrrrrrrrrr

We're thinking about taking an impromptu vacation out to NY tomorrow. Hubby has the next 7 days off of work since they're closing down for the week. And we want out of IL since work here is so unstable. If he can get a job up at the mill in Ticonderoga that would be a good thing. So he wants to go. Not to mention, this way everyone on his side of the family gets to see the babies.

It all depends on if we're able to get money wired to us tomorrow. I mean we have enough to get out there, but don't have enough to get home. Even if we don't get any wired to us, I think we can still do it. We'll just have to get money from the FIL when we're out there to make it back.

The job at the mill starts at 24 an hour. The one job that no one likes to do because they're away from home for a month at a time starts at 32 an hour. If he could get either job, that'd be a big difference from the 9 an hour he's making currently. *nod* So, yeah, here's to hoping.

On another topic... Raven says Cookie, Cracker, and Baby now. Robin just made the weirdest noise I've ever heard. Its kinda like a bird screeching.

Okay, they're driving me nuts! Who are, you might ask? Well... my muses! That's who. Sebastian, Raven, and Cip to be more precise... *sigh* Why is it, they don't work against anyone else's characters but Kris'?!

I've hardly spoken to her this summer. And I feel horrible for that, but I'll feel even worse if I just up and ask her if she'd like to do another PSL with me. T_T

AND THERE'S ANOTEHR ONE THAT'S POSIng AT MY BRAIN... Danika Higgs the bitchy little sister of Terrance HIggs.
